Early in 2018, I got commissioned the creation of the brand for a new events production company in El Salvador, as well as the direction of their marketing campaign for the first minifest.
About the client
7911 is an events production company in El Salvador, focusing on changing the way music events are created. Based on their values of zero plastic, veganism and making live music accesible to more people. They are starting to create low-cost mini festivals to give the opportunity to people in El Salvador, that cannot afford going to international festivals, experience live music the way it is supposed to be – life changing.
The Name
The name 7911 comes from the new format the mini festivals produced by this company will have, with bands starting to play at 7 p.m., 9 p.m., and 11 p.m.
"Our research showcases the profound impact gigs have on feelings of health, happiness and well-being - with fortnightly or regular attendance being the key."
A study done by O2 discovered that thanks to the feeling of community people feel in live events, like concerts, positivity increases in their life, which benefits their health. Therefore, the logo reminds us of the lock of arms it exists during these events.
The color scheme and vibe for the artworks for the first manifest were based on the genre the bands play: synth-pop, therefore a colour scheme inspired on Pop Art was chosen.
